I didn't know Harold all that well in high school, but got to know him better later in life.  Harold served on one of our County Boards when I worked in the County Executive's Office in Jack Glenzer's administration.  He was the chairman of the County Utility Review Board (CURB) and I usually typed the minutes of the board meetings for him.  Also, Mr. Glenzer recognized him for his service and heroism in the Vietnam War by declaring a "Harold Andersen Day" in Chautauqua County.  I never realized how decorated Harold was until then -- he was very humble about his war service.  He was quite the guy and a great loss to all of us who knew him and our community as a whole. 

Harry I remember you from Lincoln,JHS and JCC!You were a card and great friend!!Gone way too soon!

Harold I remember the fun we had on our double dates at JCC. You were always up for a good time ! I also thank you for the times you helped us on our reunion committee. It was also my privilege to be able to tour your facility at Phoenix Metal  when i was on the Ag and Economic Development Committee. i was proud to know you and proud of your accomplishments !  Miss you.
