David E. Evans, 65, of 1861 New York Ave., Falconer, died Monday, February 28, 2011, in his home.
He was born May 17, 1945, in Clearfield County, Pa., the son of the late Carrie Frantz.
Following graduation from high school, David served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army. He was a retired employee of Bush Industries and earlier worked at Proto Tool for many years.
Surviving are seven stepchildren: Linda (Rick) Houghwot of Frewsburg; Judy (Norman) Yonkers and John Hallett Sr., both of Jamestown; Cindy Orr and Tom (Janice) Hallett Sr., both of Kennedy; Penny Eidson of Corry, Pa.; and Chuck (Patty) VanGuilder of Falconer; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Trout of Jamestown.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie J. Grover Evans; a stepson, William VanGuilder; a sister, Shirley Hallett; and a brother, Kenny Evans.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
