Betsy and I were pals all through our years at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic School.  We graduated from Ninth Grade with a class size of 19 students, many of whom are gone now.  We kind of lost touch in high school but our families always remained friends.  Her dad and mine were best friends from childhood.  Even though I didn't see Betsy alot after high school, I always got caught up with her parents when they visited my dad.  Betsy was a special gal and she was gone way too young.
