CASSADAGA - M. June Cable, 65, of Cassadaga, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Brooks Memorial Hospital.



Born June 11, 1945, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Wescott Yernberg.



A Chautauqua County resident all of her life, she was a 1963 graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown School of Nursing.



She was employed as an licensed practical nurse from 1964 to 1973 at WCA Hospital. June then dedicated herself as a full-time homemaker and wife, mother and grandmother.



An active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Jamestown, she was active in many ministries including Joint Neighborhood Project's Nearly New Store and MELD.



June was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, sewing and made receiving blankets for many of her friends and family.



Wife of 36 years to John Paul Cable, whom she married June 14, 1974; mother of Allison (Thomas) Lawson of Fredonia, Bonita (Jonathan) Mazzone of Jamestown; grandmother of Dominic Mazzone, Desi and Padraic Lawson; and sister of Mary Autumn (Robert) Speer of Jamestown.



Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 556 E. Second St., Jamestown. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Burial in Cassadaga Cemetery, Cassadaga.



Memorials to Brooks Memorial Hospital Dialysis Unit; or a dialysis unit of your choice.




June, i will always remember your smiling face and friendly attitude at JHS. But mostly I remember the good times that we had at WCA. You were a very dedicated nurse. Miss you
