Joseph T. Fiorella,70, of 114 Niagara Ave., died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, in his home.



He was born Feb. 17, 1945, in Jamestown, the son of Lawrence and Kasime Todaro Fiorella.



Joseph started his career in construction, but that career was cut short when he was diagnosed with Lupus in his late 20's. He then changed careers and was employed by Art Metal Products in the data processing department, and then at MRC/SKF Group for more than 20 years in the same capacity. He end-ed his working years with Jamestown Area Community Federal Credit Union.





He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, Jamestown Loyal Order of Moose, Elks Club and Eagles Club. For many years, he was a coach for Jamestown men's and women's softball teams, both fast and slow pitch. Joe was an avid NASCAR and New York Yankees fan, and enjoyed skiing in his younger years. Joe was also very involved with the Children's Safety Village of Ashville, N.Y.



He is survived by two sons: Lawrence C. (Erika) Fiorella of Fredonia and Brian C. Fiorella of James-town; five grandchildren: Jack Fiorella, Katherine Fiorella, Lillian Fiorella, Janea Fiorella and Marissa Fiorella.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father; and by a brother, Charles Fiorella.



Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, in the Migliore Funeral Home.





Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, in the Migliore Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Mende, pastor of Holy Apostles Parish, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery Falconer, N.Y.
