Jacqueline A. Day, 72, of 24 Locust St., died Friday, March 23, 2018, at her home.

She was born Aug, 5, 1945, in Warren Pa., the daughter of John and Jane Richardson Miner. She has lived in Jamestown since 1954.

Jacqueline was a 1962 graduate of Jamestown High School and earned her registered nursing degree from Jamestown Community College School of Nursing. Her work history included the Southern Tier Environments for Living and the Visiting Nurses Association of Jamestown. She volunteered for many years at the St. Susan Center.

Surviving are two daughters: Elissa (Kirk) Fuller of Alpharetta, Ga., and Erika (Larry) Fiorella of Fredonia; a sister, Jann (Gil) Randell of Mayville; a brother, James Miner of Suches, G.a; three grandchildren: Jack Fiorella, Kate Fiorella and Lily Fiorella of Fredonia; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Miner.

There will be no funeral service or visitation. A family gathering in remembrance will be held at a later date.
