Beverly L. Anderson, 75, formerly of 30 W. 11th St., passed away at 7:53 a.m. Friday (Jan. 17, 2020) at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.



She was born Aug. 28, 1944, in Brooklyn N.Y., the daughter of George T. and Mary E. Anderson.



She was a graduate of Jamestown High School class of 1963. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the New York City Police Department for 34 years and part-time at Radio City Music Hall. She was a member of Blackwell Chapel A.M.E., and The Church of the Master, 81 Morningside Ave., New York City, where she served as a member of the Women’s Choir.



Surviving is one sister, Margaret S. Anderson, Jamestown; two brothers: Dr. Eldridge T. Anderson, Ithaca, N.Y., and Donald B. Anderson, Richmond, Texas; two sisters-in-law: Monica O. Anderson, Ithaca N.Y., and Harriett Anderson, Richmond, Texas; three nieces: Dr. Ashley H. Anderson, King of Prussia, Pa., Camille C. Aponte- Rossini Anderson ESQ., Arlington, Va., and Chauntel R. Anderson, Houston, Texas; one great-niece, Aurora Anderson, Arlington Va.; four nephews: Peter T. Anderson ESQ., Arlington, Va., Zachary E. Anderson, Ithaca, N.Y., Anthony Boutte, Seattle, Wash., and Eric Boutte, Richmond, Texas. She also leaves several relatives and friends.



A memorial service will be held at The Church of the Master, 81 Morningside Ave., N.Y. N.Y. 10027 on Feb. 7, 2020, at 5 p.m. A memorial service in Jamestown, N.Y. is TBA.
